Privacy Policy
Effective July 7, 2026
1. Who is responsible for your data
PulseTeach is an assistant service for private tutors that runs as an assistant and mini-app inside Telegram (the "Service").
2. What data we process
- Telegram account data — user ID, name, username, interface language. We do not see your phone number unless you share it yourself.
- Data entered by the teacher — student names and contact details (phone or @username), lesson schedule, lesson notes, homework, repertoire, payment records. A student may be a minor — see section 8.
- Data entered by the student — lesson bookings, homework submissions (text, photo, video, voice), replies to the assistant.
- Voice messages — automatically transcribed to text; the transcript is stored, the audio is not kept longer than needed for transcription.
- Technical data — service logs (request times, errors) required to keep the Service running reliably.
This website deliberately uses no cookies, analytics counters or advertising trackers.
3. Why we process data
- operating the Service: schedule, reminders, notes, homework, lesson balances;
- automated message processing by the assistant (voice transcription, answering questions, structuring notes);
- Telegram notifications (lesson, payment and homework reminders);
- payment processing (when payment features are enabled);
- security and abuse prevention.
4. Legal bases (GDPR)
- performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — providing the Service's features;
- legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — security, technical diagnostics, service improvement;
- consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — where separately required.
5. Who receives data (processors)
Data is processed only to run the Service and is never sold or shared with third parties for advertising. The Service relies on:
- Telegram — the platform the assistant and mini-app run on;
- Yandex SpeechKit — automatic transcription of voice messages;
- Anthropic — assistant text processing (Claude models);
- Railway — hosting;
- Supabase — database;
- Robokassa / Stripe — payment processing (when payment features are enabled; card data is handled by the payment providers — we never see or store it).
Some providers may process data outside the EU; such transfers rely on GDPR transfer mechanisms (including standard contractual clauses).
6. How long we keep data
- account data and teaching records — for as long as you use the Service;
- after account deletion, data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, unless the law requires longer retention (e.g. payment records);
- technical logs — for a limited period needed for diagnostics.
6a. Pre-prepared profiles
If we prepared a draft assistant profile for you from your public listing, its page is excluded from search-engine indexing, expires (with all its data deleted) within 30 days, and carries a one-click "delete my data" link that takes effect immediately.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, restrict or object to processing, receive your data in a portable format, and withdraw consent. Contact info@pulseteach.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (in Berlin: Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
8. Children
The Service is managed by the teacher. If a student is under 16, inviting them to the Service and processing their data requires consent of a parent or legal guardian; the inviting teacher is responsible for obtaining it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; the current version is always published on this page with its effective date.
